Lauren Sánchez Bezos made a bold statement during a romantic dinner with husband Jeff Bezos, wearing a completely sheer Roberto Cavalli Leopard Velvet Lace Slip Dress nearly one month after their Venice wedding. The 55-year-old author showcased the daring spaghetti-strap design – featuring an exposed back and asymmetrical skirt – with her hair styled in an elegant up-do, gold statement earrings, black open-toe heels, and a matching purse.
Bezos, 61, complemented his wife’s Y2K aesthetic with his own retro look: a blue velvet polo shirt, gray skinny pants, green loafers, and oversized sunglasses. Photos captured the Amazon founder’s newly grown thick white-grey hair, recently spotted during his Sun Valley, Idaho outing on July 10.
The Saint-Tropez date night follows their star-studded June 27 wedding at San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, where guests included Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Bill Gates. For that ceremony, Sánchez wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana corseted mermaid gown inspired by Sophia Loren’s Houseboat wedding dress, telling Vogue: “I want something that evokes a moment… I am a different person than I was five years ago.” Her “something blue” was a souvenir from her Blue Origin space flight.
