The 12-time world champion and two-time Hall of Famer suffered cardiac arrest at his Florida home, WWE confirms.

Hulk Hogan, the towering pro-wrestling icon who transformed WWE into a global phenomenon, died at age 71.
WWE confirmed the loss, stating, WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.

TMZ first reported Hogan suffered cardiac arrest at his Florida home, where medics transported him via stretcher.
