Rory McPhee and Mel B: Melanie “Mel B” Brown turned heads in a fiery red gown as she married partner Rory McPhee for the second time in just one month. The Spice Girls icon, 50, opted for a sizzling sparkly Justin Alexander dress during their Moroccan celebration at Selman Marrakech on August 3rd – a striking contrast to her traditional ivory bridal look from their London ceremony.

The couple joyfully announced their destination wedding on Instagram, sharing a photo of them dancing down the aisle with the caption: “We got married!!! Again! A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest… we had the time of our lives!!”

McPhee, 37, honored his Scottish roots in classic black-and-white formalwear with a McPhee tartan kilt. The celebration came exactly four weeks after their first wedding at London’s historic St. Paul’s Cathedral on July 5th, where Mel B wore a custom pearl-embroidered ivory gown by designer Josephine Scott.
Two Weddings, Two Styles
The singer had always planned multiple celebrations, telling Today show hosts in January 2024: “I don’t think it would be fair to just have one dress. Just have as many as you want!” True to her word:
- London Ceremony: Traditional cathedral wedding with corseted ivory gown and cathedral veil
- Morocco Celebration: “Sexy and beautiful” destination event with bold red designer dress
Designer Josephine Scott described Mel B’s first wedding look as capturing her “fearless spirit and softness all in one,”adding: “Every detail honored her strength and sensuality.”
Why Two Weddings?
Mel B explained to The Sun in July that the Moroccan event would be intentionally “more informal” than their formal London nuptials. The celebrations reflect the couple’s desire to blend tradition with personal flair – a philosophy matching Mel B’s declaration that she’d “really go for it” when celebrating their union.
The hairstylist-turned-husband and America’s Got Talent judge continue their newlywed celebrations abroad.
