The 35-year-old pop icon posted the film’s poster on her Instagram Story with glowing praise: “Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie. An absolute must watch.” She gave the Adam Sandler sequel a perfect “13/10” rating and urged fans: “Go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible 🍯” ending with her signature honeybee emoji.

The sequel marks Kelce’s highest-profile acting role since dating Swift. The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end joins Sandler’s returning golf underdog character in the comedy, which premiered in New York City on July 21.

Sandler, 58, has publicly raved about Kelce’s performance. At the premiere, he told reporters both Kelce and co-star Bad Bunny “are ridiculous in it,” adding: “Every athlete kicks a–.” The comedy legend also gushed about their off-screen bond to Entertainment Tonight: “Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with… it reminded me of my buddies in high school.”

  • The film began streaming globally on Netflix July 25
  • Kelce seeks to expand his entertainment career post-NFL
  • The couple continues supporting each other’s professional milestones

This isn’t Swift’s first public show of support for Kelce’s projects. She previously attended his Tight End University summit and cheered at his games throughout the 2023-2024 NFL season. Kelce has equally supported Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour and career victories.
